Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians

About the AEMV

The Archaeopteryx KKF working group has been a member of the Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians (AEMV) as a student chapter since 2019. The AEMV is an international organization that works to improve the care of ferrets, guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, rats, mice, chinchillas, hedgehogs and other exotic mammals. To work towards this goal, the AEMV has set up the system of student chapters. Through these chapters, the AEMV wants to provide information to students who want to learn more about these exotic mammals. In addition to the possibility of becoming a member as part of a student chapter, it is also possible to become a member yourself outside of Archaeopteryx. This can be done on the AEMV website .
