AEMV

The KKF working group of Archaeopteryx has been a member of the Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians (AEMV) since 2019 as a student chapter. The AEMV is an international organization dedicated to improving the care of ferrets, guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, rats, mice, chinchillas, hedgehogs and other exotic mammals. To work towards this goal, the AEMV has set up the system of student chapters. Through these chapters, the AEMV wants to provide information to students who want to learn more about these exotic mammals. Besides the possibility to become a member as part of a student chapter, it is also possible to become a member outside of Archaeopteryx. This can be done on the website of the AEMV .

Are you interested in rodents, rabbits and ferrets? Would you like to organize lectures with an enthusiastic group of people? Nice! Please contact the chairman of the KKF to discuss the possibilities for membership.

Via the AEMV you have access to the facebook page, recorded lectures, and a database for interships, externships and residencies.
